Mckenzie's eye surgery

Mckenzie has had a week eye muscle since she was very little. She has been wearing glasses since she was 3. It has taken us a long time to find someone to do the surgery on her eye. We are so excited. The surgery was really successful. Now she has contacts and will only wear her glasses when she wants to.

Ken and I with My brother John and wife Wendy. Our weeks overlapped and we got to spend a few days together and played some games around the campfire. It was fun to finally be there at the same time.The Shaws, Dave & Deana and three of their kids, and some grandkids came, Deana had to leave and go back to work way to soon, she needs to dump that tax job, it coincides with LEO. The Wyands, Alan & JenJen, and Casey & Justin Golledge shared a camping spot with Tyson and Autumn. We usually let Mckenzie bring a friend because noone in the family or friends has a 13 y.o. girl.Kathy, my sister & Bruce and their Youngest Brian. They brought Caroline their granddaughter who is same age as Hunter, my grandson.Tami, my niece and her husband Micah and three kids popped in for a few days. My Mom & Dad came for two weeks. They spent the first week with us. Then the second week with my brother's group. It was great to have them there.

My cousin Eric and wife Gladys and two sweet daughters are so faithful at coming to visit us each year when we are down at Leo. Darcy and children came out for a wedding and stayed for another week till it was time to go to Leo. I was so proud of her. She did her Mormon Mom proud.
My buddy Kimberly Spaulding and her daughter Denise, and Denise's son Ben shared a spot with me.

Kenzie (l) brought her friend from the ward, Sierra Phillips (r) who loves the beach as much as Kenz.

Sean, left and Dominque his sister in red came to visit my nephew Brian in red, and Cassandra. Dominique and Cassandra used to have tent sleep overs for years at Leo . My Aunt Henri, Uncle John, Uncle Pete, came to visit my Mom (far right). It is fun to see them all together.

I don't know how everyone is so good at blogging. I guess because I work on a computer all day, when I get home I don't really want to go on the laptop, even though I bought a nice one from work. Well, Like Holli, I thought I would blog a little while at work and maybe when I get home tonight I will add some picture. I really had a great time a Leo this year as always. Our family loves the beach, and if we were rich, we would definately have a beach house. But until then, we will keep going to Leo Carrillo every spring. The weather was great, we had tons of people there and of course, we took tons of pictures. I loved looking a Holli's blog and her pictures, some of which I don't have. I enjoyed swimming out to the bouy with "the kids", I am a swimmer, but a little out of shape. The water was freezing. I like to swim the backstroke, but my brain would start freezing so I had to do breaststroke. I did not have a wetsuit also. It was fun to have my grandbabies there, and now I miss not having as much time with them. My mom and dad came down and we had fun with them. So I will post some pictures when I come home.

Wells Family reunion in Wyoming in July

This year was the Wells family reunion. We had a great time as usual. This is just the iceberg of pictures we have of the trip.

We played lots of games, the kids liked nertz, Adults liked ripple, and everyone liked apples to apples.

The babies all loved Green Canyon Hot Springs, Wyatt with Mommy Autumn. Nice dive for Cassandra, except the fact that she was plugging her nose. Autumn with Hunter, Amber (Nathan's wife )with Zoe, and me taking our turn on the horses. Ken and Mckenzie enjoying the scenery. Wyatt did not want to get off the horse. I think he is going to love the horses as much as Hunter.Mom and Dad and 5 of their children, the cowboy belongs to me. We had a pretty big group for the show at Bar J Ranch.

Our family at Bar J ranch. The grounds there are beautiful. Tyson and family probably caught the most fish of any of the families. And cooked the most. We rented 10 canoes and had a great day on the teton river.This was one of my favorite things we did, I loved kayaking . Playing guessing game for the birthday party. Who knows mom & dad the best. Kids were all playing games and took a moment to pose for me.

On the last day I had not caught a fish, so Tyson took me to a place he was sure I would catch one and sure enough, got a fairly nice size one.

The Tree People

Above the whole Family and below Ken and Sandi with the kids. Every Year we go camping at Leo Carrillo over the kids Easter Vacation. Besides the beach, Leo has such a beautiful campground. At the end of the week we take pictures in the camp ground at this same tree. It a fun tradition.....who didn't charge their battery for their camera, who is sulking, who doesn't like how they look. It's pretty funny. I print one of these in an 8 X 10 and hang at work till the next year. This one and the family at the beach. I love pictures....

Well, Wyatt is six months old and I finally got his quilt made. It is so much easier to get stuff done since I am home on medical leave right now for my new hip. I made this same quilt for Molly in Pinks and greens. Wyatts is blues and greens with little frogs on it.

Tyson invited a bunch of friends out Saturday to the house and what a fun day that was. Here are each of the mom's holding their youngest babies.

Here's Grandma Sandi with My first granddaughter. Go Pink! She weighed in at 7lbs 10 oz, and 18 3/4 inches long. She has blonde hair with her Mommy's widows peak. She also has Mommy's nose. Not sure who's dimple in the chin she has. Looks Like Daddy's eyes which Mommy was hoping for so she could have the curly eyelashes. Could be either Morgan or Dani's mouth. I think Morgan's rosy red lips though. She has a good pair of lungs and cried the whole time the nurse was bathing her. She was born c section as Molly was turned sideways and they couldn't get her to change position. Unfortunately Dani was having problems with her epideral so they put her out for the surgery. She was born this morning at 3:55. After Mommy and Daddy held her I got my turn. I brought the quilt I made for Molly with me to the hospital with two sleepers that match the quilt. You know me, matchy matchy. What a blessing grandchildren are. I love it.

This is Tyson, Autumn, and Wyatt in the nativity scene, as Mary Joseph, and babh Jesus, at our annual Nativity Festival our church holds each year with the community participating in the choir selections. Mckenzie was in the finale choir.

This is baby Wyatt as baby Jesus. He did a really good job too. Instead of their half hour shift, they stayed on for an hour. Four years ago Hunter played the same role. It is so precious and
special to be asked to play baby Jesus.
